Before we get into the new head cam video, we have a new Battle Royale winner: Hayden Carter. We had a fantastic group of airsoft players in last night with some very aggressive pressing tactics.
So congratulation Hayden on being the last man standing, amongst some serious airsofters.
Nerf Gun Wars Soft Opening Event This Sunday 16th March
We have Nerf Gun wars this Sunday, but it is an online booking only event (No walk-ons). So if you have a 5 - 14 year old get booked in for a either of our 1 hour sessions 12pm & 2pm (or both). Parents can book in to play with their children too.
You can also watch your kids from our viewing room with a window overseeing the combat zone and CCTV screens to pick up the action.
There are 20 places per session, so make sure you have booked in before they are gone.
Head Cam Challenge
Our head cam challenger was Finnley O'Connor, and he managed to get some great moments on camera. One of which was riding the mannequin back to the teams drop point (with a little help from Shane). Well done Finnley, we hope you enjoyed it as much as I'm sure we all will.
Don't forget that if you think Finnleys (or any of our other challengers) video is the best, share it, like it, post comments on YouTube so we know. The person with the most views, then likes (if a draw), will be our Head Cam Challenge winner at the end of the year and get an M4 Airsoft Rifle, and a free session (in frog points) to us it.
You can see all our head cam challenge videos on our YouTube channel, Head Cam Challenge page or the Head Cam Challenge Group.
If you enjoyed this blog and the content we are creating, don't just watch it, come and be a part of it!
We have 3 hour sessions running at 10am, 2pm & 6pm this Saturday for just £15 each. If you have Frog points in your account, you can even get it cheaper than that.
We hope to see you Saturday for another great day of indoor Airsoft.
Do All Head Cam Videos get used?
Unfortunately not all head cam videos can be used. Sometimes the camera gets bumped and we see the ceiling for the rest of the video. If you are too defensive, it won't make a very interesting video. If the lens gets covered we don't see anything.
It takes a fair amount of time to edit the videos so we have to focus on the best ones.
Tips for the Head Cam Challenge:
Be fearless - Go for it, don't hold back, don't be defensive.
Capture the action - Get in amongst the other players so the action gets recorded.
Ask a marshal to check your camera from time to time.
Make sure the battery is still charged between games.
Make sure you have registered your name and camera number with reception.
Most of all - Have fun, if everyone sees you enjoying yourself, they will too.
